A true classic from a legendary producer. Bordeaux blanc is often overlooked in favour of its reds & sweet wines - which means there is great value to be had.

It uses the same grapes as the famous sweet wines if Sauternes - Semillon & Sauvignon blanc, but this is a dry wine with punch & attitude. Grown if the famous Gravel soils of Pessac-Léognan & aged in oak for 10 months.

Fresh, flowery, intense and refined nose of peach, exotic white fruits, citrus fruits and herbs. Full-bodied, juicy, fleshy, sweet and lively at the same time, with complex flavors of pulpy white fruit and delicate, concentrated aromatic herbs

Just in its drinking window, but you could lay it down for 5 to 10 years and see where it goes.

I'd love to dive into this with a lovely porchetta or pasta with a creamy gorganzola sauce.
