Produced in Portalegre to the north east of the Alentejo on the granite foothills of the São Mamede mountains, where cooler temperatures, along with many old vines, gives complexity and freshness.

Destemmed, gentle crushing, fermentation in small 4 ton stainless steel tanks with regular pump overs and delestage, temperatures 23-25 °C.

Red berry fruit aromas with earthy notes and a touch of vanilla.

50% Field Blend, 25% Alicante Bouschet, 20% Aragonez, 5% Trincadeira.

An absolute treat at this price - I'd be sipping this with barbecued Meats or a delicious Ribeye Steak.
